This old school was built from old and dilapidated pieces of wooden boards and tree trunks. Though the floor was concrete, the school yard remain unpaved. The school get dusty during dry season and turns into swamp during the rainy season. Classes were divided into 3 shifts to accommodate all the students attending school.

On September 13, 2008, the new school building was inaugurated. The occasion was very memorable for all students of the remote area of Cu Mgar. Savice funding was able to change the old school into a new, spacious classrooms and paved school yard. The students were filled with excitement, joy & happiness as they start their first day in school.
