Savice’s 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Breaks Fund Raising Record by Almost 40%
San Juan Capistrano, CA - May 4, 2010 – With over 50 sponsors, Savice was able to raise over $140,000 in its fourth year, with a total sum of over $475,000 since the organizations establishment in 2006.
Over 200 attendees came out to this year’s tournament held at the exquisite golf course at the Marbella Country Club. After the golfing portion of the evening, attendees enjoyed a fine dinner along with raffle games and prizes. Among the fine prizes included an iPad and Blu-ray DVD player. This year’s winner of the 50/50 raffle, where 50 percent of proceeds go to the charity while the other 50 percent goes to the winner of the raffle, generously donated the winning back to the organization.
With such kind supporters, the founders of the organization express much gratitude to all those who’s contribution continues to provide the children in Vietnam with the opportunity of an education. Savice looks forward to next year to break the half million mark in fund raising dollars.

Savice Receive a Generous Donation from the Octovia Foundation
Savice has received a $5000 donation from the Octovia Foundation to help educate underprivileged children in South Vietnam. The money will be used build classrooms and to teach children basic studies that will prepare them for the future.

Inauguration of the new Tieu Hoc Elementary School in Luong Dong, HUE
The new Tieu Hoc Elementary School was inaugurated on October 16, 2009 in Luong Dong, Hue City. SAVICE funding for the Luong Dong Chang'an school made it possible to turn vacant lot into school with multi-function rooms for the students and teachers. The construction that started in the summer of 2009 has received a lot of attention and support not only from the local managing board, but also from Dr. Hoang Trong Chau, Professor of Medicine Institute of the University of Hue. Savice Approves 487 New Scholarship Grants
For 2009, Savice has approved a total of 487 scholarship grants and among the beneficiaries were 236 elementary students, 251 high school students and 5 university students. The funding for the education of these student amounted to $36500.

The Annual SAVICE Charity Golf Tournament on May 5th at the Coto de Gaza golf course exceeded all expectations. The event brought over 120 attendees and it grossed $93,692 for underprivileged Vietnamese children’s education.
This popular day-long tournament symbolizes SAVICEs commitment to improvement of living conditions and future of Vietnamese children.
We sincerely thank all sponsors, volunteers and participants for being a part of this worthwhile and growing tradition.

SAVICE announces the opening of Savice's 1st Kindergarden School in Dac Lac Ban Me Thuot

SAVICE's 2nd Annual Charity Golf Classic on May 5th, 2008 at Dove Canyon Contry Club was a success
SAVICE hosted its 2nd Golf Tournament at one of the most prestigious private golf courses, Dove Canyon Country Club in South Orange County, CA. More than 150 golfers and volunteers participated in this year's event. The day was filled with many FUN, MEMORABLE & CHARITABLE experiences for everyone involved. The gross result of the fundraising efforts in the evening was $109,829. This surpassed SAVICE's $100,000 goal. The Orange County Register provided news coverage for the tournament. SAVICE completed 2nd Scholarship Award Ceremony to selected students.
The Savice Scholarship Award Ceremony took place at all selected schools during this month. Rev. Quoc Nguyen, a representative of Savice from the US, travelled to Vietnam to supervise this distribution. Our plan is to distribute the scholarship twice per shool year. During this 2nd distribution, we reviewed the student progress and approved 2nd scholarship award if the students still meet the applicable scholarship criteria. As a result, we awarded $30 for HS students and $20 for ES students as part of their remaining award being available for this second semester. SAVICE completed 1st Scholarship Award Ceremony to selected students.
Thank you all for the Savice Scholarships that were awarded to 477 student in more than 40 locations within Vietnam. We are all very pleased that we were able to coordinate all the facilitators from the different regions to work to one purpose: to promote Education for the Underprivileged Children. There are 321 students in Elementary School (ES) and 156 students in High School (HS). We awarded $95 to HS students and $75 to ES students. This means our total budget for scholarship for 2007 will be $35,685.00. We followed our plan to distribute this award to students two times at beginning of each semester. There is a greater need for student at the beginning of their school year such as tuition, book, school uniform etc. Therefore, for the first semester, we awarded $65 for HS students and $45 for ES students with the remaining award being available for second semester. SAVICE is now in the process of Selecting Schools and Students
This month, has shown significant progress on the educational program to enhance the quality of education for the children in Vietnam. The contributions that have been collected are now being allocated for the upcoming school year. Currently, 416 student applications that have been submitted for review and 347 fortunate students are now been approved for education by SAVICE.

2007 Charity Golf Classic Results

Savice's First Annual Charity Golf Classic will support education for underprivileged Vietnamese children; Savice founders will match sponsorship dollars up to $20,000. The tournament takes place June 21, 2007 at the beautiful Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Rancho Santa Margarita. The day includes a raffle for golf equipment and golf foursomes at premier local courses, as well as longest drive and closest to the pin contests and a $10,000 hole-in-one prize.
