Phu Hoang, Reverend Quoc Nguyen and Kim Feng are co-trustees of the organization.
We founded SAVICE after we realized that there is more to life than just providing for ourselves and our immediate families.
Helping others, especially children, comes natural to us as human beings. We are motivated because our participation is making a difference in a child’s life.
An image of a child studying in school vs a child laboring on a farm provides us with a clear vision of what we need to do.
Phu Hoang and Kim Feng are business owners in the United States. Reverend Quoc Nguyen has dedicated his life to others through his missionary works.
Phu left Vietnam in the early 80’s and carried with him an image of a child roaming along the filthy Saigon River, picking up recycling items for a living. This image lives on in his mind and inspires him to help these unfortunate children.
Reverend Quoc Nguyen had a tough time as a child. He lives to ensure that children receive a better chance in life.
Kim Feng has great compassion for children and interacted with many unfortunate children during her childhood. She dreamt to see these children having brighter futures. SAVICE provides that avenue for Kim to give back to the children of her beloved country of Vietnam.
".....After grade 9 I thought I was always going to be at home working. My mom only worked. When I’m older, I want to become a good teacher to help kids. I am very happy because of the help and with the consideration of the sponsors. The help continued me with school....." |
